Benefits Of Fence Painting & Staining

A side from pure aesthetics, there is one main reason why you should consider painting or staining your fences. When you apply a finish such as paint or stain, it helps to keep the wood protected from the elements. When subjected to water and intense sunlight, untreated wood can break down much faster than usual, and some types of wood can even turn grey.

Once moisture gets in, wood can twist, warp, and crack as it reacts to the water. Sunlight also breaks down wood over time as well, and when combined with moisture can make it susceptible to rotting.

Splash can offer a service by applying a stain or waterproof wood coating to renew your fences. This process is achieved by a light wash down using a jet wash and treat with a fungicide to remove any algae. Then a bit of preparation to apply the coating using a spraying machine and this allowing 2 coats between dry times.

Your fences have never been easier to treat and especially when someone else does it for you.
